AMEC AMTEX at Expotextil 2023 & Peru, a relevant market for Spanish Textile Technologies Manufacturers

At amec amtex we are very happy to participate again at the ExpoTextil Perú show.

The connection between the Spanish and Peruvian textile industries is allowing manufacturing companies to be more competitive in a global context of high uncertainty. In this edition of ExpoTextil Perú 2023, Spanish companies from the finishing machinery sector, knitting machinery and solutions for the weaving sector will be present in Lima.

The main objective of amec amtex is to maintain collaboration and exchange of knowledge between Spanish and Peruvian companies. The association participated with some companies in the last edition of the show in Lima, and in coordination with the Lima Chamber of Commerce, received a delegation of Peruvian companies at the ITMA 2023 show, of which the Spanish association is co-owner, as a member of CEMATEX.

In the textile sector, there are different challenges that impact any manufacturing company of both fabric and machinery. These are sustainability, digitalization and regulatory policies that the European Union (a target market for Peruvian fabric manufacturing companies) is implementing. From the association we hope to come into contact with the Peruvian productive fabric so that TOGETHER we can address these exciting challenges.
